Downtown Lights

A couple years ago we went with our friend Debbie downtown to see the lights.  Kallen remembered that and asked if we could do it again.  We ate at a new restaurant, Melty Way (wasn't impressed, I like my grilled cheese better) and then took Trax downtown.

December Activities

While Johnny was in Thailand I kept us busy with activities!

One Saturday we had a busy day of basketball, party at Chuck E. Cheese, Chamber Singers matinee concert at Westminster and then we came home and had popcorn and watched Turbo!

Here are a few pictures from Chuck E Cheese.

One Tuesday evening we crashed my friend's evening with her grand kids.  The kids made pizza and made some Christmas decorations that Kallen wrapped up and gave to Johnny for Christmas.  We also played Balloon Lagoon, a cranium game.  Kallen made a pretty good looking pizza.

William Penn Sing A Long

Kallen had his Christmas program at school.  It consisted of all the kindergarteners singing 3 or 4 songs.  It lasted all of about 5 minutes and then I was free to go.

Here are a couple videos of him singing:

Randoms for December

While Johnny was on his trip Kallen had to go to volleyball with me during a late game.  Here he is pretending to sleep.

Getting his first big tooth (before his baby tooth falls out).  He showed me this big tooth on Friday night and said, "Look mom, I am getting a tooth."  Of course I was a little worried because I thought baby teeth were supposed to come out before the big teeth came in.  It was Friday night so I couldn't call the dentist until Monday.  They said this was fairly normal and to give it three weeks and hopefully the baby one would be ready to come out.  As I type this we just have a few days left.  The baby tooth is pretty loose but still in.  Hope we don't have to go to the dentist to have them pull it out.
Pretending to be Hobie sticking his head and tongue out the window.  He was doing this while Hobie was in the car.  We are sitting at stop light in this photo because there was no way I could get a picture of Kallen while we were driving.

Children's Corner Fun!

Gingerbread House

One Saturday we spent the evening making a Gingerbread House!  It actually turned out looking pretty good and stayed together!

 The first finished product!

Then Kallen kept adding to it, adding more and more candy.  Turned out pretty good.

Random Pictures with Hobie

First Snow of the Season

We had our first significant snow of the season.  Johnny left the weekend of our first snow so I got to clear the driveway.  I used the snow blower for the first time.
