Trip to Oregon

At the end of June we went to Oregon for a week! Kallen had a great time picking strawberries and raspberries from the garden and eating cherries from the tree. He also loved walking around the farm and looking at the chickens and playing in the creek. He was so tired after one day that he fell asleep on the couch!

We also met Auntie Joseph in Portland at the Children's Museum where Kallen got to run around and play. It was no surpise that his favorite room was the water room!

Red Wagon

For Kallen's first birthday he got a classic Radio Flyer Red Wagon from Grandma and Grandpa. We have had so much rain since he got it, we were finally able to play with it.

Grandma's Visit

Grandma was able to come visit for almost two weeks. After we got back from Canada Kallen enjoyed spending time with Grandma and got to go to the zoo for his second trip.

Road Trip to Alberta, Canada

Kallen spent many hours in the car heading to Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada for a wedding.

One Year Old

At Kallen's one year appointment he weighed 26.06 lbs (90th percentile) and had a height of 32.75 inches (off the chart). With the weather nice Kallen loves to go outside and play. He loves to look for birds and airplanes flying in the sky.

Trip to Oregon 11 1/2 Months

Kallen had a lot of firsts on this trip to Oregon for his Uncle Mike's wedding. First frozen fruit bar, first ride on an ATV, first time on a slide and a swing. The weather has been so rainy and snowy in Utah this Spring that Kallen has only been outside to play on three occasions so the weekend in Oregon he got to spend some more time outside.

11 Months

Kallen is now 11 months old. He started walking at 10 1/2 months. He has been standing and walking along objects for the past couple of months so he is not getting into much more trouble. One Sunday he walked across the living room by himself and he hasn't looked back.
