Summer Is Almost Here!

This post is going to go backwards. We have been able to squeeze in a few fun things in between all the rain we have had the last month. Today was our first really warm day, we had a high of about 85 degrees. Kallen is going to start t-ball in a couple of weeks so we bought him a glove so he can start practicing.

We also took Kallen to the outdoor pool near out house. It was fun for all.

Last week Kallen had his last night of May Swim lessons and he also had his program at school on the same night. Here are some pictures of both events.

Last year at Kallen's program he started crying and left the stage. This year he made it through the entire song, though I don't think there was any singing or actions.

One nice evening in May we took Kallen to the Dinosaur's at the Zoo. We went on a member's only night and it was even before the official grand opening of the dinosaur exhibit. Kallen lives and breathes dinosaurs. He chooses to wear a dinosaur shirt every day and night of the week. We have to hide them if we want him to wear anywhere else. He had a really good time looking at the dinosaurs.

Kallen is Three!

Kallen had a birthday weekend! The weather was finally nice on Friday so while we were playing outside we went ahead and opened his bike and put it together. He rode it a little but since it wasn't as easy as his big wheels he went back to what he was used to. I am sure it won't take long and he will be riding all around.



On Saturday we took Kallen to Chuck E. Cheese's. He had a good time playing lots of games. His favorite was air hockey. He probably played that for 30 minutes with a new friend. It kept him entertained while we ate lunch.



Kallen also enjoyed the bowling. This video I shot he actually didn't bowl that well but he acted like this anytime he got knocked any pins down.

We saved the candles and cake for Sunday. Here he is blowing out his candles.

Easter 2011

Here are some pictures of Kallen opening his Easter basket, reading his card from Grandma and Grandpa, hunting for eggs, and devouring his chocolate bunny from Grandma and Grandpa. In his Easter basket Kallen got some more sidewalk chalk, a frisbee, a couple small books, and some socks. He is also into posing for pictures with Hobie so here is his Easter morning pose with Hobie.

Grandma and Grandpa's Visit April 2010

Grandma and Grandpa got to come visit for a couple weeks while I was away for 5 days for a conference for work. Kallen enjoyed spending time with them and they enjoyed spending time with Kallen.

One rainy day they took Kallen to Jungle Jim's Playland!

Grandma and Grandpa also got to take Kallen to the Little Gym for his weekly class.
