Music Recital

Kallen has this music class at school once a week.  The instructor comes to his school and teaches the kids who sign up for the class.  Musicality Utah.  Kallen had his recital after the first session.

We didn't have the best seats to take pictures but here is a few.

We will be getting a DVD of the performance from a much better angle so I wasn't too concerned about taking pictures or recording his performance but as Kallen was waiting his turn he kept mouthing and motioning for me to take pictures and video so I did.  After the performance he asked if I recorded him and if I had sent it to Grandma and Grandpa.

 

 

 

 

Easter 2013

 Kallen went downstairs to see if the Easter Bunny had brought him anything.

He found a couple different things.  The Easter Bunny brought Kallen a big chocolate bunny from Grandma and Grandpa!

 

The Easter Bunny also brought Kallen a book, a puzzle, some bubbles and a little bit of chocolate and some jelly beans in some plastic eggs.



 

We had two dozen of eggs to hide in the back yard.  We did 3 rounds of hiding the Easter eggs.

Last year or maybe even the year before I bought this special egg coloring kit.  Instead of dipping them in color you rolled them around in your hand after dripping a few drops of paint on them.  It was fine, but it wasn't PAAS so I had Johnny stop by the store on his way home and get another dozen of eggs and some PAAS coloring which is how we ended up with 2 dozen of eggs!
