San Diego July 2012

Kallen and Johnny went to San Diego to visit Johnny's parents.  We always try and do one major event while on the trip.  This year it was San Diego again.  We took Kallen when he was two so this was his second trip to Sea World.

 Kallen was very excited to go to the beach.  Looks like he had a lot of fun.  He obviously doesn't have any fear, look at how far out he is in the second picture.  Must have just been after a wave went by.

Trip to Seaport Village.  I have never seen the bumper cars before.

 They took the boat from Seaport Village to Coronado and back.  Kallen was pretty excited about the boat ride when he told me about it on the phone.

 Mission Bay:  He loves this ride and has no fear of it.  He went on it last year as well.

 Crashed out at the airport.  Their flight was delayed out of Vegas because the Vice President was at the airport and they had to wait for him to leave before any other flights could leave.  Funny thing is that the Vice President was coming to Salt Lake for a fundraising event in Park City.  I actually saw them on the freeway, going the opposite direction, as I was heading to the airport.  They weren't too far ahead of Johnny and Kallen.

Here are some random pictures from the month of June.

We went to Wheeler Farm one Sunday morning to the Farmer's Market and to feed the ducks and geese all of our old bread.

Finally got the things put in Kallen's bike to prevent flats since it is guaranteed to get a flat tire riding on the Jordan River Parkway.  Here is Kallen's first ride down the trail.  We rode to South Jordan to the park where he got to play some on the play ground before riding back.

After bike riding Kallen finally got to play with a water toy he had gotten for his birthday and him and Hobie also played in his pool.  Not sure who likes the pool better, Kallen or Hobie.

While I was in Vegas Johnny took Kallen to the mall where they have some dinosaur things.

They also went to Cabella's while I was in Vegas.
